Voles wreak havoc on a lawns. They will run trails from neighboring lawns, open fields, and wooded areas into your lawn looking for a new or better home. Once in a lawn, they will dig holes to establish a permanent burrow. When they have established themselves in a lawn that's when the damage will begin to grow.
Two Types of Control Methods
Vole Trapping: If voles are in a lawn they will need to be removed by trapping. We use scent bated traps that will lure each member of the colony to ensure not only the adult voles will be removed from the yard, but their brood as well. The traps and scented lures are non-poisonous and safe around kids and pets.
Vole Deterrent: After voles are removed from the yard a Vole Deterrent must go down regularly to keep these pest out. If a lawn had voles before, the lawn will get them again due to hospitable nature of the area. The deterrent repels voles using a non-poisonous chemical barrier that is safe round kids and pests.
